Adversity Into Empowerment
With over 16 years of experience as a Video Engineer in the touring industry, I forged my career at a young age, establishing my own business and navigating the challenges of networking and self-training. Living the roadie life, I thrived in high-stress environments, negotiating deals, and overcoming adversity.
The fragility of life became starkly apparent after losing my mother to Lung Cancer in 2012 and my wife Brianna to Cystic Fibrosis in 2017. This realization hit even closer when I woke up one day with a paralyzed left side of my face due to Bell's Palsy. Directly after, I faced the extreme and devastating challenges of COVID-19 that wrought havoc on the entertainment industry.
In the face of these challenges, I turned to writing as a means of coping and discovered the profound impact of Brianna's legacy, encapsulated in the mantra 'Choose Your Attitude, Create Your Life.' This revelation unveiled my true purpose — to help others lead lives of purpose and fulfillment.
